Welcome!

Welcome and thank you for your interest in fundraising, non-profit management and development research!

Apra Rocky Mountains is a local chapter of Apra, an international organization for people interested in the field of prospect development. The goals of Apra Rocky Mountains are to facilitate education about prospect development, to act as a central source of information about prospect development, and to advance cooperative relationships among the professional individuals in the field.

About Us

Apra Rocky Mountains (formerly Colorado Professional Researchers for Advancement, or CPRA) was founded in 1995 by a group of professional development researchers to provide support for professionals involved in the role of research in institutional advancement. Apra Rocky Mountains members are drawn from a diverse group of organizations including: higher education, private secondary and elementary schools, hospitals, health, religious and social services organizations, arts and cultural institutions, and regional offices of national not-for-profits.

Prospect research is a critical component in the development process and Apra Rocky Mountains is dedicated to providing cutting edge educational opportunities for all our members. Whether you are brand new to the field of prospect research or an experienced veteran researcher, Apra Rocky Mountains is here to help you as you progress in your career.
